- Create and maintain forecasts and reporting
- Determine the best methods to gather, model, manipulate and present data
- Gather required data and perform data analysis to support business needs and anticipate future and ongoing needs
- Communicate and share knowledge and findings and present results in a manner that the internal team members can understand, ensuring interpretation, appropriate detail and usability
- Resolve unexpected problems resulting from unusual data and from limitations inherent in software applications and data processing resources
- Interpret and translate analytical results into business implications using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation to complex data mining and modeling
- Develop in-depth understanding of our process and marketing environment
- Assist division management in sales efforts, such as preparing materials and performing research
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience performing analytical problem solving within market research, data analytics, or related field
- Experience with Marketing Mix and Forecasting
- Experience with MS Office including Excel
- Experience looking for strong analytical resources, not technical or Big Data
- Knowledge of statistics, mathematics, marketing principles and current business trends
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and data management skills
- Problem solving skills with the ability to maintain an open mind and think creatively about problems and their resolution
