I am sharing an event hosted by United Community Family Services on Thursday, September 28th at Shenandoah Country Club located at 5600 Walnut Lake Rd. in West Bloomfield, MI. The event runs from 5:00pm-9:00pm and the tickets are $20.00.
The not for profit organization was founded fifty-six (56) years ago providing programs that empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency with dignity and hope. Our programs give low income families not only the basic services they need to survive with dignity such as basic food, clothing, furniture, household items and emergency medical relief, but also educational tools that will empower them towards self-sufficiency. UCFS/CALC helps over 5,000 families in need in Southeastern Michigan annually.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Basic Needs Center and Food Pantry.
