Toma & Associates CPA PC is currently seeking candidates for a full time position as a Senior Accountant. The candidate will work directly under the CPA to learn how to be a CPA and grow with the firm. Experience is a plus but not required. You will learn how to properly do accounting for small businesses. Responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the CPA.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Perform the day to day general ledger accounting for clients
- Payroll Data Entry for clients
- Prepare monthly sales tax for clients
- Perform check data entry for clients
- Review and research accounting transactions
- Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare Monthly Financials
- Prepare Personal and Business Tax Returns
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Word, Excel
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-directed and Organized
- Wanting to learn and expand with the firm.
- Accounting CS, Ultra Tax is a plus but not required.
