ICE has started asking detainees to have family members bring small bags. This is the last step before deportation. We are asking for as many lawyers as possible to reach out to us at CODE Legal Aid or the Chaldean Community Foundation immediately. If the lawyers from the Latino, Arab, and other communities can assist, we will be gracious. The national level stuff is moving, but each detainee still needs individual representation.
