Performs duties associated with the check-in process including verification of eligibility and benefits on all insurances, generation of referral forms and data entry. Responds to patient inquiries. Completes the check-out process including the scheduling of appointments for return visits and procedures conducted in the office. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFORTS: Prolonged standing, sitting and viewing of computer screen. Ability to deal with stressors associated with technical work environment, patient care and urgent/emergent situations. ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced work environment.
