The Chaldean Museum, located inside the Shenandoah Country Club is now finished and open for visitors to learn about the long and rich history of the Chaldean people from ancient Mesopotamia to Today. The Museum covers over 5300 years of history and contains five galleries: Ancient Mesopotamia, Faith and Church, Village Life, Journey to America, and Chaldeans Today. It is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. It is also open to groups by appointment by calling 248-681-5050. Tour guides are available for groups visiting the Museum. Cost to visit the Museum is $5 per person or $15 per family. There is special pricing for group tours. Mary C. Hello – On behalf of the UCFS/CALC, we would like to ask for your help in delivering Christmas Gifts to needy families in our community for our “Christmas Family Program”. The gifts have been purchased and are ready to be delivered. Now we need YOU to be St. Nicholas for many families by donating your time on Wednesday, December 21st. We will meet at our office at 2033 Austin Drive, Troy, MI 48083 at 1:00pm. If you have a few hours to help us deliver gifts, please respond to this email letting us know you will be able to volunteer on Wednesday, December 21st at 1:00pm. You must be willing to deliver gifts in the following cities: Warren, Sterling Heights, Southfield or other metro Detroit cities.
